A CONVERSATION WITH...SARAH OPPENHEIMER - WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
The Oppenheimer family first started Headmore Livery and Stud in 1988. Over the years, the business has steadily grown to its present size of approximately 45 horses. Set in 50 acres of Hampshire countryside, it boasts outstanding facilities.
Sarah Oppenheimer, has over 40 years of experience in the equestrian industry, and has been joined in running of the stud by her daughter Alice. Alice was a member of the 2009 Young Rider European team and since then she has been working her way up through the grades and has won internationally at Small Tour and competes internationally at Grand Prix. She now has an outstanding team of horses, whom you can read about on her website. Together they help owners maximise their enjoyment with their horses, as well as producing homebred top quality young dressage horses to compete and sell. Alice also competes a number of horses for owners. Sarah and Alice have an outstanding back-up team of vets, physios, farriers and conscientious staff, ensuring that every horse receives true five star care.
